Bama's #1 FAN!!

Hello Blog world...
Meet Chad, he is The Alabama Crimson Tides most recent convert.
Ok, so the rest of the story is that my buddy Chad has lost a bet. He will be sporting his Alabama Roll Tide apparel tomorrow on his birthday. He just tried it on today because he was soooo excited to have such a classy new wardrobe that he couldn't wait until tomorrow. And apparently he had dropped something in the dumpster and needed something to wear while he went dumpster diving.
Well that's all for now, check out my future...

In Loving Memory, Beloved Son, husband, father, friend...

I'll never forget the 1st time I met "Dad" It was Thanksgiving and he and Mom had put together a family dinner. It was the 1st time they would meet me and my 3 children. "Sweetie" and I had not married at that point but Dad, Mom and the entire Andrews clan welcomed us with open arms as if we had always been part of the family.

One thing I remember about dad was his sense of humor, he was so funny to me. Another thing that really impressed me was, you always knew where you stood with dad. He was sincere and straight forward. What you seen was what you got. I have a deep appreciation for that quality. I think far too many people spend far too much time attempting to put a good spin on who and what they are. You got none of that with dad, and he expected the same from the people around him.

I think the thing that touched my heart the most was how he treated the 3 kids that I brought to the family equally to the ones who were born into the family. All 5 of our children loved Paw Paw and he loved them, end of story.

When I think of dad I am reminded that truth, faithfulness, loyalty, love, family, laughter and courage where his gifts to us, and although he is no longer here with us,those are things that will forever live in our hearts.

When I think of Mom, I see the picture of what marriage is. She has stood by her husband through good and bad, sickness & health. Never giving up,no matter the cost. She has strength more than she would ever credit herself with and loves with her whole heart.

Dad, you are loved and will be missed by many.

The "Tats"

OK, so here is the tatted club...

Top is Amber, she has a heart that has her daughters name in the center along with a ladybug. In case your wondering the ladybug has significance because Alana's nick name is "Lana Bug"

Next,Tyler's Buddy Chris has a tattoo to honor his father who is passed away, initials "REB" Very cool Tattoo!

Tyler's is next, obviously the the Calvary scout is literally coming out of him!

Cricket is last but not least, the last 2 pix are of her tattoo. It's just a pretty little heart. I think the significance here is that she has always wanted a tattoo and now she can scratch it off of her " things to do before I die list" , Watch out Wayne I think the mustang is next!!

That's all for now, check out my future...
